MP and judges select excellent Christmas card design for 2008

Roberta Blackman-Woods MP (City of Durham) has once again run a competition amongst secondary school and college students in her constituency to design her Christmas Card which will be distributed across Durham.  This year the competition was open to GCSE- and A-level art students.

New surgery dates added

Roberta has added two new surgery dates to the list before Christmas.

These are:

• Friday 28 November, 12.30pm - 2.00pm, Durham Students' Union (for students only).

• Saturday 29 November, 11.00am - 11.00am, Tesco, Dragonville.

You do not need an appointment to attend Roberta's surgeries.

MP launches consultation on new University backed school

Roberta Blackman-Woods MP (City of Durham) has launched a new school survey to find out residents views about the possibility of a brand new school for this area.  Labour's County Council will be consulting shortly on their plans to build a state-of-the-art brand new school for this area, but as the local MP Roberta is launching this survey to inform people about the proposed plans and to ask people for their views.
