Re-Election

Re-Election

Following my re-election as your Member of Parliament for the City of Durham, I wish to offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted for me. I will continue to work hard for Durham City, and will represent everyone in the constituency, regardless of how they cast their vote.

Having spent the last four years as a Shadow Minister in Communities and Local Government covering planning policy and procurement, I am delighted to have been asked to take on the housing brief for the time being as well. During this period, I will work hard to hold the Government to account on its housing policies.

Once again, many thanks for placing your trust in me to serve you as your Member of Parliament, and I look forward to working hard for everyone in Durham City in the coming years.
