Coxhoe is the ward at the southern end of the constituency and as well as Coxhoe itself it also includes Kelloe and Quarrington Hill, Cassop and Park Hill.
Kelloe is receiving education investment in the form of a new Sure Start centre which is to open shortly. And Cassop Primary School’s environment centre is well known across the region, and was recently visited by a Government Minister. In Coxhoe traffic through the main street is a problem and bus services to the whole area, especially Kelloe and Quarrington Hill need improving.
I would like to see more done to support older people in this area of the constituency including more facilities. However, I am pleased with the new housing that is being provided for older people in Quarrington Hill
